Made by Kinjo China Studio (Japan), c1910 20. Between 1891 and 1921, Japanese porcelain exported to the United States was marked Nippon, the Japanese word for Japan, in compliance with the McKinley Tariff Act requiring indication of origin. Initially accepted by U. S.
