Springbank 21 Year Old 2024 Release 70cl Cairanne while the partial oak fermentationThe 2024 release of the Springbank 21 year old single malt is made from a mix of wood ageing: 65% port, 25% bourbon, 5% rum and 5% sherry cask. This has created a dram with a wonderful character. Aromas of dunnage warehouses, old library books, leather, treacle and cinnamon sticks. The palate is viscous and thick where there are notes of dark fruits, bung cloth and dates with touches of spice and peat smoke.
